I went with a neutral and lace look for this outfit by adding a white lace top, grey tights, grey and lace shoes, and a pearl necklace (of course). I think the overall look is soft and feminine and I love it!
I'm participating in some fun link-ups today! One of my link-ups is with the Modern Austen for the Pantone-Inspired Color Challenge (I'm wearing Paloma). I'm also linking-up at Greater Than Rubies for a "one piece many ways" challenge.

DeleteHi Whitney. I am Ada.
ReplyDeleteI first stopped by your blog last week, totally loved your outfits but didn't have time to comment. I am so glad I found you because you put together some cute, girly outfits and you have a beautiful curly hair and a gorgeous smile. I am loving this Skirt and the Flats, too. You cannot go wrong with Gray. And Loft is one of my faves, as well. And I love Polka Dots.
I am remixing my closet this whole month of April. I'd love for you to take a peek, so I am inviting you to check out my blog. I also wore a Nude Lace Top, yesterday.
Have a Great Tuesday, Ada. =)
Oh my gosh! Thank you SO much for all of the compliments! I consider myself very girly so I'm glad that my personality comes through in my outfits. I will definitely stop by your blog to check-out your remixing skills! Have a wonderful Tuesday as well :)
DeleteAdorable! I love this skirt with the lace-y top!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lauren! I like that the outfit turned-out really soft and feminine!

ReplyDeleteThank you! Any skirt with an elastic waste band is good in my book :)
DeleteThat skirt looks so comfortable, I have one just like it with the elastic waistband and I love it! Your necklace is cute!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Whoever came up with skirts with elastic waste bands was a genious! Pretty, polished and comfortable!
DeleteWhitney, I'm so glad you decided to link up! This outfit is just perfect. I love that it's soft, feminine, and classy. And I love anything LOFT so that is another bonus :P You look great!
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting such a fun link-up! It's fun to think of the clothes you already own in a new way when the seasonal Pantone colors come out!
DeleteOoooh, I love this outfit! Is there anything better than lace, polka dots, and pearls? I think not! You look lovely!
ReplyDeleteWhy thank you! I completely agree...three of my favorite things!
DeleteWhitney, this is such a cute outfit and I agree with Megan, that you nailed the trifecta of lace, polka dots and pearls. Not to mention, that I am a HUGE fan of elastic waistbands! LOL!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! And yes, the elastic waistband might just be the BEST part of the outfit :)
DeleteThat is such a great skirt - I can definitely see why you want to wear it all the time! And yes, elastic waistbands are the BEST.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I think all of us bloggers can unite in our love for elastic waistbands :)
DeleteI feel that way really about all the things I've bought this year. I've been a lot more mindful about what I'm buying, which really means that I love it all and want to wear them all the time.
ReplyDeleteYou know what, maybe that's why I'm becoming "obsessed" with the things I buy...because I've been a lot more careful about what I've purchased lately. I guess that's a good thing!
DeleteThat skirt is so pretty! And I love an elastic waisted skirt - so comfy!
ReplyDeleteThe consensus seems to be that elastic waisted skirts are the absolute best :)
DeleteLove it! Adorable outfit, as usual! :)
ReplyDeleteI can't stop wearing this pink lace blouse I bought a few weeks ago-- I want to wear it with everything. All the time. Every day. Okay, I'm exaggerating, but I really love wearing it, so I know what you mean! :)
Ohh! Pink AND lace?? I probably wouldn't stop wearing it either!

ReplyDeleteWell thank you so much for hosting such a fun link-up and thanks for stopping by!
DeleteI kept looking at that skirt every time I went into LOFT, and now I'm rather sad about not picking it up. I love how you kept the feminine vibe with the lace shirt. So glad I traveled to your blog through your comment on mine. I love your style! Plus, you're a teacher. AND, you're a blogger who's not terribly far away from me. (I live in the Baltimore area.)
