When Sweatshirts are Pretty

Can we take a quick moment to observe the massive ice sheet that I'm standing on?!  For whatever reason, the patch of sidewalk right outside my front door turns into an ice skating rink regardless of how much salt is used.  The rest of the sidewalk will be completely cleared but this ice remains.  It's a wonder I've made it all winter without falling.  Although now that I've said that, I'm bound to wipe-out soon!

Alright, alright, now we can get to the clothes!  I've reviewed some pretty fun pieces from Zaful in the past but, you guys, I've found my favorite!  This sweatshirt!  First of all, it's super comfy (you know, being a sweatshirt and all).  On top of that it's super pretty and will be easy to dress up or down.  Who doesn't love a sweatshirt you can wear to work!?

I wear a size medium in most brand but typically size-up with Zaful.  I'm wearing a large here and still had plenty of room underneath to layer my chambray shirt.  I would very highly recommend this sweatshirt if you are thinking about it!

Anyways, Happy Hump Day!  I hope you are having a fabulous week!

Create28: Never Before Blogged

For my fellow personal style bloggers out there, do you have a piece in your closet that you wear all of the time but for some reason it never makes an appearance on your blog?  If yes, that's the purpose behind Never Before Blogged!  Let's showcase those hardworking items that don't get much glory!  Post yours on Instagram using #create28winterlooks

I've owned this sweatshirt for so many years that I've lost count!  I wear it so frequently that I'm surprised it's never been blogged before!  It is one of my go-to tops on sleepy workday mornings when I can't figure out what to wear.  Technically it's a sweatshirt so it's super comfy but the sequin polka dots make it dressy enough for work.  I also like it's thin texture because it can work over jeans or dress pants but it can also be tucked into skirts.  The pattern and sparkle give it enough interest that I don't have to add much else to the outfit.

Here I've paired the sweatshirt with my favorite skirt as well as tights and moccasins in shades of brown to accent the sequins.  So many of my favorite pieces come together here to create a really comfortable yet cute outfit!

Quality family time while taking blog photos with my brother-in-law, niece and the dog around!

Time to link-up your looks from this last week of Create28 or any other posts you are proud of!
